B Vitamins are essential!!
It is one vitamin that I won’t be without. It helps increase my energy, boosts my immune system, supports my muscle and hormone functions, helps to break down carbohydrates and use them for energy, helps my body to manage stress better and a whole bunch more!!
In a nutshell- it helps my body and mind to function better and it supports my weight management efforts.
The KEY is it must be a QUALITY product!! What does that mean? Well it can’t have any junk in it.
YES- some vitamins are made with binders, fillers, talc, glue, coloring, dyes and other crap our bodies are not meant to absorb. WHY?? Well- they add ‘fillers’ instead of quality ingredients to lower the price point. They may add dye and glosses to make a pill that is shiny and pink. They use glues and binders to form the pill- again if trying to keep the price point low- it will be low quality and sometimes toxic ingredients.
How about the new gummy vitamins that taste like candy? Well- what’s it made with? –added sugar, aspartame or other artificial sweeteners? It MAY BE! Check the label. Know what you’re taking in. These things are hormone disruptors and hormone disruption will wreak havoc on the quality of your life and will hamper your weight loss efforts.
When choosing a brand that’s right for me I only choose products from reputable companies that are certified GMP (Good Manufacturing Process), meaning there are quality checks in order to verify that what they say are in their products –are REALLY in their products. I also look at the science. Do they include the right amount of the active ingredient for the benefit. Meaning they have enough in the vitamin dosage for me to achieve the benefit or there is not too much of said ingredient and I am being overcharged. Marketing is tricky! Buyer beware. Use only trusted sources and read the labels.
