I would like to share a little bit about how MM has helped me. I was always
chubby as a kid. I was the youngest of 13 children and we ate a lot of pasta, bread, cheese, and peanut
butter. As I got older, I enjoyed exercise , became a physical therapist, changed my eating habits, and
became a group fitness instructor . I was pretty fit but was sluggish. I was crashing during the days, my
face was always breaking out, I was irritable, and I gained 10 pounds. What was going on??? Ugh! I tried

During the first two weeks of Metabolic Method, I lost 8 pounds and was down 3 inches. And continued to shed weight after. My husband, who saw me after being away for a while, joked that I seemed to be shrinking. It was SO helpful to learn about how my body reacts to certain foods, its impact on my hormones and how that directly relates to inflammation, weight gain and other ailments as well. Before Metabolic Method, I had always said I had very little will power to control my cravings and limit my carbs without having to do something super extreme, like a juice diet. However with MM, I realized that not only can I control how I respond to those cravings but also I discovered why I have them in the first place and that severely limiting my calories wasn’t the answer. MM truly opened my eyes to the fact that I can eat tasty food, which was also good for me and put me back in the driver’s seat for what I put in my body and how I eventually felt. Hopelessness. Despair. Exhaustion. Pain. Shame. These were the main emotions I was feeling when I was introduced to the Metabolic Method. I knew if I didn’t do SOMETHING I would be dead or incapacitated at the very least. I had given my all to numerous programs over the years, but none of them addressed what was really going on with me and my body. I started my journey hoping to get my hormones, inflammation and the effects of extreme stress under control. I had given up on losing weight because it ALWAYS found me again. To my surprise, once I started eliminating foods from my diet that I was sensitive to, the weight just started coming off! The first two weeks I lost 14 pounds and overall to date, I am down 45 pounds and 10% body fat. I started at tight size 18 pants and now wear a 12. I also deserve a new wardrobe.
During the first 2 weeks I dropped 9 lbs. and it just kept coming off. I have lost a total of 33 pounds to date, 15 inches and almost 4% body fat. My body is a happier place to live in now that I understand inflammation and how to knock it out. I have made a lifestyle change in 5 short months that is so easy and rewarding I can barely say enough. HUGE love and gratitude to my coaches, they are super stars and teach us how to be our own super stars!! Metabolic Method is the most empowering choice I have ever made in taking back the younger, fitter and healthier me I have always known lived inside and wanted to come out!
